Your standard insulated cooler panel floors are not waterproof so any leakage will seep into the paneling, shortening the life of the floor. Over time this moisture creates a sagging floor or one that swells and "pushes up". Our resilient vinyl flooring solution creates a waterproof "pan" inside the box which protects it against this moisture damage, exponentially extending the life of the box. Plus the floor protects the box against physical damage like dropped cases or kegs.

 

Retrofit

If you have an existing box which has a damaged floor, we have several options that will keep you from having to buy a new unit. Let us overlay your existing floor or retrofit an entire new floor into your box

Overlay
If your existing box has a floor that is old, maybe corroded, but still fairly moisture free then it might be a candidate for our overlay option. This process involves overlaying a new plywood floor over the old panels. Once this new, reinforced, layer is added then we add our reinforced vinyl safety flooring. The result is a reinforced, waterproof, floor that will last for many years to come.

Retrofit
Some existing insulated floors are just too damaged to overlay. Those floors need a complete retrofit solution. We first cut out the existing insulated floor and clean the subflooring to remove any existing moisture or smell-causing residue. Then we install brand new insulated panels which are purchased direct from major cooler manufacturers. Once installed, we overlay with a layer of plywood to provide stability and to help the floor adhesion. Finally, we install the resilient vinyl safety floor which completes the process.
